Most die hard Apple fanboys and girls out there already know this but for any newbs to Apple the feature that allows you to scroll in a MacBook or MacBook Pro is really cool and time saving.
All you need to do is use two fingers on the touchpad instead of one while moving them up or down. Using two fingers on the touchpad will scroll if necessary in any active window or while in safari. This is especially helpful when navigating blogs or web sites where you need to scroll up or down. As far as I know, this is a fairly new feature that works on MacBooks that are a few years old.

Just as the file menu is hidden in Windows Vista explorer, it is also hidden in Internet Explorer 7. To get it back, all you need to do is click "Tools" in the upper right hand corner of IE7 and select "Menu Bar."

Many hate Microsoft for some of the crazy changes they made in Vista, but what most people don’t know is that Microsoft made Vista so that it can still work almost just like XP.
If you hate the fact that the file menu is missing in Windows Explorer (My Computer), just put it back. All you have to do is select "organize" in the upper left hand corner, then "layout," and finally click, "file menu." There are some other cool things in the layout area that will make your Windows Explorer navigation experience much better, just try some out by selecting them.

Windows XP and Vista have a cool way of telling you the date and time with the click of a mouse or just a hover of the mouse. You get the same result with both operating systems but Vista just makes everything look pretty.
All of you know where the clock is in you system tray on the lower right hand corner of you screen is? Well if you hover your mouse over it, you computer Vista or XP will also tell you the date.
In XP, if you double click the clock, you will get the Change Date and Time Settings dialog box. The change date dialog box is nice and it tells you what you need to know but it does not look nice and finding out the date and time is not really what it is meant for but it is a good way to change the date and time quickly if you need to.
On vista, when you hover your mouse over the time you get a pretty calendar and clock Window that is nice to look at. If you need to change the date and time, there is a link on the bottom of the Window just as the picture above shows.
