If you have ever wanted to change the color or appearance of Windows Vista? With some simple steps, you can personalize the look of your computer and the slick transparency in Windows.
Right-click on your desktop and select Personalize. A windows will pop up, then select Windows Color and Appearance where you will find an array of colors, enabling of transparency, and options for intensity.

Hi, i am using windows vista home premium (definitely) but i only have the vista home basic theme, therfore i can’t change my colors-Help Please?!

Hi, the first thing I recommend is your experience index. Vista will not allow Aero unless it has rated your system. Go to Control Panel, find “System,” click on Windows Experience Index, finally click Rate and improve your computer’s performance or update my score. Depending if you computer has rated itself one or the other option may be available. Assuming you have enough Ram, you should get Aero as an option in “theme”
