Sometimes you have your hands on the keyboard and it takes extra time to grab the mouse and move to the address bar to type a web site while using Internet explorer. If you are looking for a way to speed up the process, try typing Alt+d. This means hold down the alt key and then press the d key. This will move you to the address bar and you are free to type hopefully making your browsing experience quicker and better.

alt-tab

Ever work on you computer and notice that your desktop is cluttered with too many windows and you need to get to one but it is covered by another. You could look at the taskbar to select it but here is a cool shortcut.

Hold down the "Alt" key and start tapping the "Tab" key. You will notice a small window pop up at the middle of your screen and each little icon you see on the window corresponds to an open Window. Just keep hitting the Tab key while holding down the Alt key until you get the window you want. Also you can hit Alt+Tab once and you will see the Window the active window you had active prior to the one you are currently using. Tap Alt+Tab again, and you will be returned back to the other window. I think I may have made that sound much more confusing than it needs to be, just try it out. Good luck.
